I currently reside in Ankeny, IA along with my beautiful wife Lisa, my three wild, crazy, fun, and yet still adorable kids, Sammy 6, Louie 4, and our newest addition Aria, she’s 1. I attended the University of Iowa and graduated with a degree from their School of Business in late 2003. Upon graduation, I was hired at New York Life by Kevin Garman in October of 2004. I didn’t know it at the time, but that would become one of the most important decisions I have made in my life thus far. I subsequently qualified for Executive Council, achieved New Org Agent of the year, was the New Org Paid Life case leader and won the Des Moines Life Appreciation Award in 2006. In 2007 I followed up with my best and final year as an agent to in turn become a Partner. In that final year as an agent, I qualified for the Premier Executive Council, the Million Dollar Round Table and was the Life Paid case leader for the office. I also won the New Org agent of the year and the Des Moines Life Appreciation Award.

After being promoted to Partner in December of 2007, I have learned how much hard work and dedication it takes to put a successful team of agents together. Most importantly, I have found true joy in helping others succeed in their personal careers. In 2011 my team qualified for the Prestigious Top 50, finishing 15th. It was the most challenging yet rewarding year for me since I’ve been with NYL. My main goal for 2011 was to hit Senior Partner. It was an especially challenging goal, but I am proud to say that I have achieved it and became Senior Partner effective January 2012. Becoming a Partner at New York Life has given my family and I the ability to make choices pertaining to our quality of life that many people don’t have the opportunity to make. Because of this I am forever grateful to NYL and to the great group of people who I get to call my “Team”.  All the successes my family and I enjoy are only made possible by their hard work and dedication. I want to thank each and every one of them because without them, I would not be where I am today. Thank you.
